But how does it sound?

Well, maybe a few words at the end about the sound. The Ti or the R01 motherboard for the N6ii is something very special:

Not only will it be the last of a total of 6 different boards, it is also the most complex. For the first time, a discrete R2R Ladder DAC has been implemented in such a small space. What’s more, it’s extremely high quality.

The result: Compared to the existing, also very good boards, increased spatiality, clarity and a certain analog feeling that simply makes the music playback seem more organic.

Maybe Cayin wants us here compensate for the lack of tubes, which are present in the N3Pro and N8.

For me, it's definitely a hit and from now on it's my favorite combo with lots of in-ears, but also headphones. Even the Spirit Torino Valkyria, the absolute top model, is properly powered. And that from a mobile player.

I'm thrilled!

What exactly is R2R?

I would like to take a closer look at this in one of the next blogs. A full-size headphone amplifier from Audio-GD, the R27 is already on the way...
