Designed for long listening sessions, the new, balanced sound profile delivers a wide soundstage with exceptional resolution and layering.

Its enhanced acoustic refinement is complemented by new housing colors that combine sonic brilliance with visual elegance.

Carefully (re)tuned

• Low-frequency range (bass): Two dynamic drivers in an isobaric configuration. This placement produces deep yet controlled bass, eliminates phase distortion, and reduces unwanted resonances. The result is full, powerful, distortion-free bass reproduction.

• Midrange: Four balanced-armature drivers deliver the speed, clarity, detail, and resolution needed for impressive spatial layering and immersion.

• High-frequency range: Two electrostatic drivers, known for their unparalleled speed and precision, deliver clean, detailed highs - precisely tuned to avoid harshness or sibilance.

• Six-way crossover: A new 6-way crossover supports the optimal interaction of all drivers and blends the frequencies together seamlessly.

Luxurious craftsmanship

The housing is made of anodized aluminum. Additional 7-axis CNC milling and engraving processes create an extremely complex in-ear design.

• Surface finishing: Each component is finely polished, anodized, and then cryogenically treated. This hardens the surface against scratches and protects the components from damage caused by drops.

• Acoustic neutrality: The aluminum housing creates an acoustically inert environment that minimizes unwanted vibrations and resonances.

• Design: The combination of a deep-black shell (Deep Black) and dark-red faceplate (Dark Burgundy) gives the headphones a mature, luxurious aesthetic.

Inner Details

• 3D-printed acoustic chamber: Enables precise control of the acoustics and ensures consistently uniform tuning.

• In-house wiring (Copper XS & Silver XS): Two specially developed Ultra Pure OCC stranded conductors serve as the “veins” inside the housing and route the signals precisely to the respective drivers.

• 0.78 mm 2-pin connectors: Made from tellurium copper with rhodium plating and PEEK insulation. Provides maximum conductivity, excellent channel matching, and a slightly recessed design for long-term stability.

Cable & accessories

The SONORA SE comes with the limited Silver Plated Copper XL (SPC XL) cable. It consists of two 18AWG UP-OCC conductors with 36 strands, minimizing electrical resistance and increasing efficiency with any source. Damping cores provide excellent ergonomics.
