Mytek was founded in 1992 by engineer Michal Jurewicz founded in New York, to bring his vision of reference-quality sound to recording studios. Sony, Universal, and Warner Music have used Mytek A/D and D/A converters on hundreds of albums, including some by Beck and Norah Jones.

Since 2011, Mytek has also been building devices for audiophiles and Their products are tuned to reproduce recordings as faithfully as possible. The distinctive, modern design of the devices underscores their commitment to the highest quality.
