Its thoughtfully designed architecture features a pure tube circuit for preamplification and dual 5U4G tube rectification, to produce a warm, finely detailed, and authentic sound with impressive soundstage width. Thanks to an isolated dual-transformer power supply and high-quality VISHAY coupling capacitors and Nichicon filter capacitors, enjoy a sophisticated, noise-free soundstage with a pitch-black background.

With flexible connectivity options—including balanced XLR and 4.4 mm inputs, as well as unbalanced RCA connections – the TA-68 blends seamlessly into any setup. On the output side, it effortlessly drives a wide variety of headphones. The integrated relay circuit ensures maximum protection by gently preheating the tubes and reliably suppressing annoying startup noises. "If you want to do tubes, the xDuoo is a great option. It’s more powerful than most OTL designs, which makes it quite versatile. It’s not the best choice for planars, but going under 60 ohms doesn’t immediately make it choke up. Balanced input & output

The device features a fully balanced transmission architecture. Dual tube circuits are used for the left and right channels throughout the entire signal path from input to output. Balanced connections offer far superior sound quality compared with conventional unbalanced connections, with clear improvements in channel separation, detail resolution, soundstage width, and an exceptionally quiet, pitch-black background. It reproduces the original audio with purity, transparency, and fine layering. 

Tube rectifier architecture

Equipped with two 5U4G tubes for high-voltage rectification, providing independent anode voltage for the left and right channel tubes to produce a rich, authentic, classic tube sound. 

Tube preamplifier

Two matched and selected 12AU7 dual-triode tubes handle preamplification. This creates the signature warm, smooth tube sound without harshness or listening fatigue, even during extended listening. 

Premium audiophile-grade capacitors

Audiophile-grade VISHAY capacitors are used as coupling capacitors to deliver a transparent, sweet, warm, and pleasant sound.

Nichicon capacitors specially developed for audio serve as filter capacitors, providing a smooth, mellow sonic foundation with rich, extended, naturally transparent highs. 

Multiple input & output interfaces

Equipped with RCA, 4.4 mm, and balanced XLR inputs for seamless switching between different audio sources.

The output section offers three options: 6.35 mm unbalanced, 4.4 mm balanced, and 4-pin XLR balanced. Compatible with most headphones without additional adapters. 

Anti-power-on/off pop circuit

Integrated intelligent relay protection circuit with a 45-second warm-up delay on startup. It fully warms up the tubes to produce rich, authentic tube sound. At the same time, it suppresses loud popping noises when switching on/off and prevents power surges from damaging the headphone drivers - for fully protected headphone operation. 

Aluminum alloy housing

The device features a robust aluminum alloy housing with a finely sandblasted front panel for a premium, solid feel. It provides excellent EMI shielding to block external interference and preserve pristine sound quality.
