The Violectric HPA V222 is a new balanced headphone amplifier in the Violectric range. As a true balanced amplifier, it offers four power stages, not just balanced connection options.
The headphone amplifier is a further development of the multiple test winner HPA V200 and HPA V280 and offers the incomparable natural and pleasant sound that made its predecessors famous.
Overview
The HPA V222 Thanks to its special technology, it not only offers one of the most powerful headphone amplifiers on the market, but also:
- Minimal noise - due to very low internal amplification. This makes the amplifier's inherent noise inaudible.
- High output voltage - thanks to its 50-volt internal operating voltage. Therefore, it's ideal for high-impedance headphones.
- High output power - With powerful amplifiers that can deliver far more power than even the most demanding headphones require. Therefore, they are ideal for headphones with low impedances and magnetostats.
- High damping factor - Due to the lowest output impedance, it is therefore ideally suited to driving even the most difficult headphones without interference, guaranteeing an uncompromising frequency response.
Functions
The rear line inputs can be selected via a switch on the front panel. The activated and buffered signal is routed via the RK 27 volume control to the power amplifiers, which are a further development of the famous V200 circuits.
