Description
SupraCable has successfully taken the next step. Reducing power grid influences on stereo and video systems. The main focus is effectively suppressing harmful effects of direct current (DC) on alternating current (AC). These power disturbances occur in almost all modern living and working environments.
DC components in the current are generated by almost all modern devices and "alter" the clean sine wave of the alternating current – this so-called DC offset results from the different absorption of the positive and negative half-wave of the alternating current. In perfect power supplies, no DC offset would occur.

DC offset reduces the effective work of power supplies and oversaturates the transformers or their iron cores. It increases the temperature in the iron core and often causes transformers to hum. Furthermore, clean power can lead to a longer lifespan of your devices due to reduced thermal stress.
More important, however, is the sonic influence! This can be very dramatic and even introduce tones into the music that are not contained in the original recording. After all, one wants to enjoy unadulterated music and film enjoyment without sonic impairment.

It is very easy to integrate into the home audio and video system. A ground connection is not absolutely necessary but is highly recommended for other reasons. Your system will sound better, and all other LoRad products will work perfectly together.

The DC blocker is specified for 16 Amperes and allows a power consumption of 3680 Watts. The power cable is optional; of course, we recommend the Supra 2.5mm² LoRad power cable for perfect results.
Sound
The DC blocker under no circumstances dampens the dynamics! As soon as the sound becomes clearer and more precise, some music listeners perceive this as a reduction in dynamics due to the absence of disturbances. This perception due to the absence of errors is a frequently observed reaction.
Basically, the dynamics increase as soon as disturbing power components are kept away from the devices. The bass becomes more precise and the timing behavior is optimized. Now even the finest structures in bass reproduction, such as the decay of drumheads, become audible in unprecedented quality.
Important to note!
When connecting the DC blocker, always observe the following sequence. Please always connect all power connections first (LoRad power cable, LoRad power strip MD-XXXX MK3) and connect them to the DC blocker. Then only connect the DC blocker's power cable to the socket. When the system is powered off, proceed in the reverse order. This ensures that any residual electrical voltages in the system are discharged.
