Softears EDGE – Overview & highlights

The Softears EDGE is the debut model of Softears' new Lifestyle Listen (LS) series. It combines a striking, industrial design with acoustic precision.

• CNC-machined titanium housing: The housing is made entirely of a high-quality titanium alloy. It features clear, geometric lines inspired by the purist design of modern camera systems, offers very high stability, and eliminates unwanted housing resonances.

• Proprietary 11 mm dynamic driver: Inside is a specially developed 11 mm high-performance dynamic driver that delivers powerful, deep-reaching bass along with precise midrange and vocal reproduction.

• Labyrinth acoustic structure: An acoustic labyrinth channel on the back of the driver provides controlled damping. This prevents the bass from masking the mids and enhances transparency and channel separation.

• High-quality 7N OCC cable: Included is a silver-plated 7N OCC copper cable with a balanced 4.4 mm Pentaconn plug, ensuring lossless signal transmission and minimal cable noise.

• Ergonomics: The sound nozzle has a comfortable diameter of approximately 5.5 mm and an optimized angle, making the in-ear monitors very comfortable and unobtrusive in the ear despite the metal housing.
