Direct Drive for Ribbon Headphones
PERSEUS was born from our many years of experience in developing amplifiers that directly drive ribbon headphones and dates back to 2019. This potential enabled us to develop PERSEUS (the giant slayer). We were the first to manufacture amplifiers capable of directly driving ribbon headphones. Unlike the acclaimed HSA-1b amplifier, we have made the output for ribbon headphones more efficient here, thus avoiding the enormous power loss of the output stage.
For Ribbon, Planar, and Dynamic Headphones
PERSEUS was created in response to the current demand for amplifiers capable of directly driving ribbon, planar, and dynamic headphones. Practically three in one. Its incredible agility and ease in driving all three headphone types almost confuses listeners.
You can connect RAAL Immanis or Magna, Susvara, and Abyss 1266 simultaneously, and it continues to play clearly and transparently without any negative effects on sound reproduction.
A powerful, quasi-complementary output stage switch makes it insensitive to the type of load. All power is delivered traditionally with discrete components. Additional detail accuracy is thanks to the stabilized power supply, which makes the circuit resistant to fluctuations in mains voltage.
Double Feedback for Finest Details
The double feedback we traditionally use manages to bring out fine sonic details that often confuse listeners in this price range of amplifiers.
We are confident that the PERSEUS will appeal not only to many audiophiles but also to professionals involved in music production and post-production in studios. Smoothness & Brilliance
Its sound truly lies somewhere between the smoothness of the Morpheus and the brilliance of the Hyperion. Definitely something new. This class of amplifier requires high-quality DACs and high-quality connection cables to fully unfold its sound in all its glory.
