The first Hyperion Ge amplifier was created in 2022, and we began series production in early 2023. With this model, we used germanium transistors in the input stage for the first time. The sonic result was truly impressive.
Its quasi-complementary output stage perfectly complemented the input section. No listener remained unimpressed. Warmth and fluidity, yet everything is clearly delineated – no detail is lost. For the Reference Series in 2024, we further refined the base model in key areas.

New Technology – Ultimate Sound
With the new Hyperion LF model, we have put the input stage front and center and designed it around 3 JFETs featuring the renowned 2SK170 BL transistors.
We replaced the input buffer with germanium transistors with input transformers featuring a Permalloy core.
The result was surprisingly good – a significant step forward. The sound gained even more fluidity and body. Building on a solid foundation, we achieved a substantial improvement.
Its speaker output repeatedly delights experienced listeners. All you need are speakers with somewhat higher sensitivity, and that is where the magic begins.
Had we not disclosed the technical specifications of the Hyperion LF, 90% of listeners would be convinced they were listening to a tube amplifier.
We are confident that many listeners will be fascinated by the effortless ease and sonic richness of the new Hyperion LF.
