The HYPERION Ge headphone amplifier represents the true STATE OF ART in the field of audio reproduction.

In Greek mythology, Hyperion is the son of the god Titan. Hyperion, along with his son Helios, represents the personification of the sun. We designed the front panel to symbolize the brightness of the sun.

The luxurious presentation and exceptional authenticity of the reproduction never fail to delight the listener, creating the illusion of live music down to the smallest detail.

The high level of reproduction was established with the HAS-1b. With the HYPERION Ge, we have succeeded in achieving even more detail and an even finer representation of the acoustic space.

The careful selection of components and the expertly designed amplifier topology with a pure A-class preamplifier provide a stable basis for the highest class of amplifiers.

Germanium transistors

To achieve this, we chose the forgotten gems among transistors - germanium transistors.

They were developed in the 1950s. They had several advantages over silicon transistors (higher current gain, higher linearity, and lower base voltage requirements). Due to the expensive and complicated technology and the expensive base material—germanium—their production was discontinued in the 1970s.

Unfortunately for audiophiles, they have been replaced by cheap silicon transistors. However, their rarity and significantly higher price didn't stop us from using them in the input stage of the HYPERION Ge.

The use of germanium transistors allowed us to achieve the finest reproduction details, immersing the listener in the world of live music. The fact that germanium transistors have a base voltage two to five times lower than silicon transistors gives this amplifier incredible potential for reproducing the finest details, captivating with a sumptuous sound presentation.

HYPERION Ge is an amplifier with which we want to leave the fantasy of audio presentation and bring you onto the stage.

A particular advantage of the HYPERION Ge is its speaker output. This allows you to experience the incredible authenticity of the playback in your room when connected to high-quality speakers. This, of course, requires first-class sound sources AND top-notch cabling to keep the path to live sound open.
