SAEQ HSA-1c

The HSA-1c is an improved version of our renowned HSA-1b amplifier. The new version offers uncompromising resolution and refinement of musical detail and an extremely powerful output stage.

We've tried to give it additional potential for driving planar and dynamic headphones. If you choose the HSA-1c, it no longer matters which headphones you connect to it.

He is uncompromising in his presentation of musical material and reveals new details you have not heard before.

With the HSA-1c, you don't have to compromise when choosing headphones. It doesn't matter whether you're looking for ribbon, dynamic, or planar headphones. The different impedances and power levels don't matter. The HSA-1c is powerful, yet also smooth in its presentation.

What makes him uncompromising

  • Completely discrete technology without integrated (hybrid amplifier) circuits and SMD components. This approach gives us greater freedom in component selection and thus the ability to choose the most optimal elements for a given function.
  • a powerful and robust output stage with quasi-complementary output transistor pairs (quartet?) with a total power of 300 watts per channel and possible pulse currents of up to 8 amperes.
  • Single-end input stage without capacitive input compensation.
  • Bias stage in pure A-class also without capacitive compensation
  • Volume control via 24-stage attenuator. Channel difference less than 0.1 dB
  • All components were carefully selected in a variety of listening tests with the goal of achieving a very high level of reproduction. It can directly drive ribbon, electrodynamic, and flat headphones, as well as top-of-the-line loudspeakers.

Review Headphones Guru

"The HSA-1b has punch, dynamics, and a level of transparency that is truly outstanding and will make you want to stay up late into the night just to hear one more track.

If you already own the SR1a headphones and are looking for a top-of-the-line amplifier, the HSA-1b is for you! Especially if, like me, you have a collection of other great headphones you want to power, this amplifier will satisfy any future upgrade needs! Highly recommended!

The HSA concept has its own impressive history, which you can read about in a number of successful reviews on our website."
