I am selling my open flagship headphones Meze Audio Elite, which I bought new in 2023.
They are ideal for anyone looking for over-ear headphones with a top-tier planar magnetic driver. This means incredible accuracy, resolution, and transparency across the entire frequency range from high to low frequencies.
The headphones bring out the qualities of a good source and high-resolution files, making additional details in your favorite recordings more clearly perceptible. I really love listening to live recordings with these headphones.
Online reviews generally say that the Meze Elite is relatively easy to drive compared to other TOTL options and therefore sounds great with all genres and a wide range of amplifiers.
However, I have found that a good amplifier adds "more" to the overall sound of the Meze. So you can definitely choose devices that are more neutral, warmer, etc., to suit your preferences, and the Elite will adapt to that. Enjoy!
