CLOSED PLANAR MAGNETIC HEADPHONE
The Kennerton Rognir is our company's first closed-back planar magnet headphone to rival the best open-back models in terms of sound!
If you order a limited edition Kennerton Rognir First Edition, you won't get it not only an excellent instrument for listening to your favorite music, but also:
- Special cable from a vintage stranded wire special series from the 1970s with a 4-pin balanced XLR connector.
- 4-pin Balanced XLR to 6.3mm TRS adapter, made with the same material and technology as the cable.
- Wooden shells made exclusively from rare and expensive woods (at no extra charge).
- The headband in a new, improved design.
- Carbon planar drivers with an improved design and reinforced Kapton membrane, specially designed and manufactured for closed planar headphones.
"The Rognir feels like a semi-niche, extremely special headphone. It's not quite like any headphone I've heard before; maybe not in a drastic way, but there's certain nuances to its sound that felt very foreign and refreshing to me.Those who can swing the price tag and are looking for a headphone with next-level sonic performance and unique handling will be delighted to add the Rognir to their collection. "
"The Kennerton Rognir might be one of the most surprising headphones I've ever heard for the simple reason that it sounds so much more engaging than almost all of the headphones that many would consider the best headphones in the world .If you are in the market for a truly remarkable sonic experience – the Rognir belongs in the top echelon of headphones ever created."
HIGH-FIDELITY HEADPHONES FOR PROFESSIONAL AND AUDIOPHILE USERS
For a long time we could not make up our minds to take this step - to launch closed planar magnetic headphones.
We have done many experiments and developed many prototypes. But we still haven't dared to launch this model.
And why? Because we didn't want our new model, which we've put so much work and effort into, to be talked about in the way many audiophiles talk about the vast majority of headphones of this type. Here's an example:
"The day I discovered the sound of open-backed headphones, I realized that I would never go back to closed-backed design because everything What I liked about them turned out to be a negligible compromise in practice! Planars only have their raison d'être in an open version!"
Isn't that a very familiar mood in the review?
And after almost 2 years of work, we are now ready to present you this model!
