The first of its kind.

The HEDDphone® D1 offers the clarity, realism, and sound integrity of a reference monitor and was designed for true listening pleasure.

Every note sounds balanced and immediate without causing fatigue. The carefully designed fit also ensures lasting comfort during longer listening sessions.

The Carbon revolution for audiophile sound

At its core is the world's first Thin-Ply-Carbon membrane (TPCD) – a breakthrough that redefines what dynamic headphones can achieve.

The D1 was developed from an idea eight years ago and has been continuously improved over the years. It is the result of four decades of HEDD's acoustic expertise and collaboration with Composite Sound from Sweden, specialists in advanced audio membranes.

The D1 is based on precision, purposefulness, and material integrity. It offers reference accuracy and balance, making it perfect for anyone serious about sound.

Heddphone D1

Lightweight, comfortable, durable – material and craftsmanship

The D1 is the world's first headphone with a dynamic driver and a Thin-Ply-Carbon-Diaphragm membrane (TPCD). Developed together with Composite Sound (Sweden), it combines HEDD's 40 years of acoustic experience with cutting-edge material science. The result is studio-quality clarity, balanced sound, and fatigue-free comfort. The D1 is made in Germany and comes with a 5-year warranty.

Dynamic drivers rethink

Dynamic headphones have always required compromises: speed versus stability, weight versus comfort.

Based on four decades of studio experience, HEDD has redeveloped the core of the driver.

The result is a design that offers studio-quality precision for personal listening: detailed, balanced, and fatigue-free.

Lightweight comfort, long listening – that's the motto.

Weighing 350 g, the D1 combines an ultra-light diaphragm with a compact driver architecture, enabling hours of immersive and fatigue-free listening enjoyment.

All components were designed with stability, fit, and a natural sense of lightness in mind.

Universal performance

With an impedance of 32 Ω and a sensitivity of 100 dB, the D1 delivers consistent performance across all sources – from portable players to dedicated amplifiers – and easily adapts to high-end systems without losing control and balance.
