Final A6000 – f-Core DU, stainless steel frame, fine contour

The Final A6000 in-ear is designed for precision and high resolution. Yet it never tends toward harshness or exaggeration. Final places it in the tradition of the A series, whose development began with a newly defined approach to sound evaluation: not under artificially strict lab conditions, but closer to real listening situations – with varying volumes and material qualities. This thinking was already incorporated into the flagship A8000, and the A6000 transfers it to a more accessible class.

At the core is the fully internally developed 6 mm dynamic unit “f-Core DU.” The diaphragm, voice coil, magnet circuit, adhesives, and even the manufacturing equipment were designed in-house. The driver’s front housing is made of brass, which is less susceptible to magnetic influences and contributes to stability due to its density. An ultra-fine 30-µm CCAW voice coil is mounted with minimal adhesive to reduce moving mass and improve response. The diaphragm is also produced in smaller batches to minimize pressure distortion and ensure consistent results.

For the A6000, Final also developed a stainless steel mounting frame that firmly supports the driver internally. The housing remains deliberately light on the outside: a comfortable resin housing with a metallic frame inside for rigidity and quietness. This is complemented by the “hard grain” surface treatment, which combines texture and everyday practicality – less prone to scratches and fingerprints, yet pleasantly grippy.

Included is a newly developed soft 2-pin single-crystal copper cable that combines high conductivity with a smooth feel. For fit, TYPE E True Wireless ear tips with wider openings in five sizes (SS to LL) are included; they are made of two materials to combine stability in the ear canal with comfort on the ear. A silicone carrying case ensures clean storage and quick access.
