DIGITAL/ANALOGUE ISOLATION
The TERMINATOR 15th provides complete isolation between the digital processing board and the R-2R ladder network arrays. By physically connecting them via the OCXO module, this design minimizes noise and improves the signal-to-noise ratio.
OVEN CONTROLLED QUARTZ OSCILLATORS – OCXO
The TERMINATOR 15th is equipped with two OCXOs operating at 45.1584 MHz and 49.152 MHz, ensuring extremely low phase noise and exceptional accuracy. These OCXOs are housed in a metal enclosure and powered by a specially designed, shielded power supply for optimal stability.
ADAPTIVE FIFO BUFFER RESYNC
The adaptive FIFO buffer stores digital audio data read from the ultra-low phase noise OCXOs. This data is converted into analog signals by true balanced R-2R ladder networks, with high-precision resistors ensuring linearity.
HIGH-PRECISION OCXO CLOCKING
The Terminator 15th features a high-precision OCXO clock output designed for synchronization to various audio frequencies. This precision component supports
Audio frequencies: 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz Clock frequencies: 22.5792 MHz, 24.576 MHz, 45.1584 MHz, 49.152 MHz
Experience unprecedented accuracy and synchronization in your audio setup with the Terminator 15th.

THE BASIS FOR EXCELLENT SOUND
Dedicated linear power supply in a robust, 1.5 mm thick metal alloy enclosure. Additional sheet steel partition between the DAC mainboard and the power supply box for improved EMI/EMF shielding.
INNOVATIVE BOX-IN-BOX DESIGN
Eliminates the problems associated with dual-housing solutions. Highlights DENAFRIPS' meticulous design and attention to detail.
PREMIUM COMPONENTS
Two O-core transformers for the digital and analog sections. Ultra-low ESR, long-life capacitors. Multi-stage super-linear power supply for ultra-precise power delivery with low ripple.

A DAC Hat Trick
"Denafrips has gone and done it, producing three DACs that delighted me with reproduction that brings out the heart and beast in whatever music I sent its way. As you might expect, the Terminator II's upgrades over the lower priced Denafrips DACs allow for even deeper exploration of the sounds and moods in music. Very well done!"

Hello! Today I want to talk about the Denafrips Terminator II DAC. How it is built, how it sounds and even compared to the Pontus II and Chord DAVE. The Terminator II DAC is a world class DAC that brings the high end for much less money. Enjoy!

DENAFRIPS Terminator II DAC, Wowsa!
"So Steve, what do you really think?"
"Well, I think I just told you what I really think. But I will sum it up this way: For the price, for the built quality you get for that money, and the sound quality, I think the Terminator II is actually a deal - at least by Audiophile standards - it is underpriced for what you get."

Denafrips Terminator II Review and Comparison
I'm not joking when I say that I could completely picture Jordan striking the steel drum, ranging between medium speed to somewhat fast strikes with mallets in both hands. I'd never heard this level of detail before. It gave me a whole new take on the track because it was just more real.
