Digital in its purest form
The Denafrips IRIS 15th is the entry-level digital-to-digital converter (DDC) in the Denafrips lineup – yet embodies the brand's fifteen years of experience in digital audio technology.
Carefully designed and refined, it adopts the central design philosophy of our flagship DAC and integrates a completely new FPGA architecture for digital signal reconstruction as well as highly precise clock technology to reproduce music with exceptional purity, precision, and natural realism.
FPGA digital core – retimed for sonic purity
The heart of the IRIS 15th is Denafrips' custom FPGA DSP processing core, which works in harmony with FIFO buffering and re-clocking technology to eliminate transmission jitter and timing errors. Every bit of digital data is processed with utmost precision to ensure a clean, stable, and distortion-free output signal.
USB audio reinvented - The evolution of computer audio systems
Powered by the powerful STM32F466 ARM MCU USB module, the IRIS 15th ensures full compatibility with PC, Mac, and RPi systems. Combined with its FIFO buffer and femtosecond crystal oscillators, the IRIS 15th transforms ordinary computer-based playback into a professional digital audio transport, delivering unprecedented clarity, transparency, and precision.
Craftsmanship at the highest level
The IRIS 15th is robustly equipped with an aluminum housing from the same series as DENAFRIPS' high-end models, allowing you to enjoy flagship-level enclosure configuration at an entry-level price.
It completely replaces the original steel housing. The new enclosure is precisely CNC machined and finished with a combination of anodizing and a fine satin brushing process. This not only significantly improves mechanical stability, vibration resistance, and thermal performance but also provides a rich metallic shine that underscores Denafrips' uncompromising pursuit of craftsmanship.
This refined mechanical processing represents an improvement both visually and tactilely, while also providing a solid foundation for superior sound stability and long-term reliability.
