Concept
Pulse and presence. A transcendent listening experience, performed by IBUKI.
With a universal earphone featuring a detachable cable, we have embodied the “pinnacle of sound” envisioned by Brise Audio.
Our goal was to create low frequencies with a tangible presence, as if masses of air were pushing forward, along with a delicacy in which every individual note released into the space emerges gently and pleasantly.
We envision a lively sound that allows you to listen to your favorite collection endlessly while forgetting the passage of time.
Combined with the WATATSUMI portable headphone amplifier, it offers the pinnacle of the listening experience.

Technology: 9-driver / 5-way tribrid configuration
01 Low frequencies
LCP dynamic drivers – opposing arrangement
The acclaimed 8 mm LCP diaphragm DD used in FUGAKU has been upgraded to Version 2. Two units are mounted opposite each other in a gold-plated OFC ring chamber, achieving immersive, dense low frequencies without creating a feeling of pressure.
02 Mid–high frequencies
Carefully selected BA drivers + EST drivers
A total of five BA units from Knowles and Sonion are integrated through a proprietary crossover. Two EST drivers expand the soundstage and provide airiness in the ultra-high-frequency range. By suppressing sibilance, they create a sound image in which every individual note stands out clearly and distinctly.
03 Enclosure – Grade 5 titanium
PVD-coated in anthracite
The high-strength Ti-6Al-4V enclosure prevents resonance-induced sound coloration. The PVD coating protects against scratches and provides a smooth, pleasant-to-touch surface.
04 Acoustic design
3D-printed integrated sound channel – driver holder
The drivers’ outputs are combined through sound channels with different diameters and lengths. This achieves seamless, uniform sound transmission without creating the impression of mixed multi-driver reproduction.
05 Crossover
High-precision 5-way passive crossover
Constructed from high-quality components such as thin-film resistor attenuators and film capacitors. With stable, temperature-independent characteristics, it transmits the signal to each driver without coloration.
06 Optimization
Brise Audio’s proprietary high-quality sound processing
Original HCNT and special materials that absorb electromagnetic waves block external noise and interference between the drivers. The sound-absorbing felt material on the back absorbs and dampens internal enclosure reflections.
The included “BSEP for IBUKI” cable also features Ultimate-class high-quality sound processing using the latest materials, including HCNT.

Driver configuration
9 DRIVERS / 5-WAY
Tribrid configuration with drivers optimally assigned to each frequency range
Ultra-tweeter: EST (electrostatic) ×2
Two electrostatic drivers
Two EST drivers (electrostatic drivers) are used for the ultra-high-frequency range. They provide a larger soundstage and greater airiness, creating a highly realistic sound.
Unlike MEMS, they do not require a dedicated amplifier, allowing you to enjoy fine, wide-ranging reproduction in the ultra-high-frequency range even in combination with commercially available DAPs and portable amplifiers.
Tweeter: Knowles BA ×2 / Midrange driver: Knowles BA ×2
Knowles balanced-armature driver
To fully reproduce the subtle nuances of vocals and the harmonic components of instruments, two Knowles BA drivers are provided for each of the mid- and high-frequency ranges.
By taking advantage of the excellent transient response characteristic of BA drivers, a balanced sound is achieved in which each note stands out clearly, while sibilance and other unpleasant sounds are suppressed for a smooth sound.
For the high-frequency drivers, background noise was reduced by modifying the configuration so that the two units, normally configured as one unit through parallel connection, were switched to a series connection.
Lower-midrange driver: Sonion BA ×1
Sonion balanced-armature driver
A Sonion BA driver is used in the lower midrange to reproduce the warmth of voices and the rich resonance of instruments with nuance. It provides a smooth transition between the frequency ranges and the dynamic driver, reproducing the lower midrange with natural fullness.
Woofer: 8 mm LCP dynamic drivers ×2
Liquid-crystal-polymer diaphragm dynamic driver – opposing arrangement
The 8 mm-diameter liquid-crystal-polymer (LCP) diaphragm dynamic driver, also used in FUGAKU and valued for its expressive bass performance, has been upgraded to Version 2, with its characteristics tailored to IBUKI.
Output of unnecessary frequency ranges that would otherwise be attenuated by filters and similar means has been suppressed, improving reproduction capability in the sub-bass range.
Through an opposing arrangement in which two units are mounted facing each other in a gold-plated OFC ring chamber with appropriate softness and vibration damping, the vibrations generated by the units’ diaphragm operation cancel each other out while achieving optimal drive.
This produces resilient low frequencies that retain their density while suppressing the feeling of pressure, resulting in greater listening enjoyment and immersion in the sound.
Housing
HOUSING - Ti-6Al-4V (Grade 5 titanium) + PVD coating

Using Ti-6Al-4V (Grade 5 titanium), known for its high strength and hardness, for the housing prevents tonal coloration and unwanted resonances caused by housing resonance, resulting in clear, dynamic, precise low frequencies and extended high frequencies.
The surface has been given a PVD coating to reduce fine scratches from daily use and improve the feel against the skin with a smooth texture.
Ear-hook construction
The ear hook, made of soft thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and containing a stainless-steel wire, prevents the housing from twisting due to the weight of the cable or pulling forces. It also ensures a stable fit during extended wear. The bend angle can be freely adjusted by hand.
OFC Pentaconn earphone plug
The OFC version of Nippon Dics' Pentaconn earphone plug is used. Its low contact resistance minimizes sound loss, and it features a robust construction that resists wear even after repeated plugging and unplugging.
Technology - INSIDE IBUKI
3D-printed speaker-driver holder with integrated sound tubes
Acoustic design

Speaker-driver holder with integrated sound tubes using 3D-printing technology
By combining the sound output of the individual drivers through a speaker-driver holder with sound tubes of different diameters and lengths, seamless and even sound transmission was achieved without giving the impression of a mixture of different driver types.
The use of 3D-printing technology made it possible to precisely produce complex internal structures that could not be manufactured with high precision using conventional methods involving vinyl tubes and similar materials. The fine shapes of the sound tubes combine the output of each driver at the optimal timing and balance.
Crossover

High-precision 5-way passive crossover
To adjust the sound-pressure balance of the individual drivers while transmitting the signal without distortion, a passive 5-way crossover made from high-quality components was developed.
These include attenuators with thin-film resistors, which are characterized by high precision and stability and are barely affected by temperature fluctuations, as well as film capacitors that are tonally neutral and offer excellent frequency characteristics.
Original Brise Audio pure-silver Litz wire is used for the drivers’ internal wiring to minimize losses.
Improvement

Brise Audio’s Proprietary High-Quality Sound Processing
HCNT (high-quality CNT) developed by Brise Audio, along with special electromagnetic-wave-absorbing materials, is used on the surface of each driver and the EST transformer to block external noise and interference between the drivers, enabling highly separated sound.
As with FUGAKU, sound-absorbing felt is attached to the back of the dynamic driver to absorb and dampen sound emitted from the driver’s rear port that resonates inside the housing, reducing negative effects on the individual drivers.
