LUNA is the third product in Astell&Kern's IEM series, continuing the brand's philosophy of pursuing fidelity that remains true to the original sound. Building on the experience gained from the development of the AK ZERO1 and AK ZERO2, LUNA delivers more precise sound with a 13 mm planar driver that enhances spatial awareness and tonal balance.

Perfected for subtle and detailed sound
The newly developed unipolar microplanar magnet driver in LUNA, called Katabiki (片響), was developed in collaboration with MADOO.
Inspired by dynamic drivers, this driver features a unique unipolar magnetic circuit and was developed with special attention to resonance characteristics.
The diaphragm housing is precision CNC-machined from aluminum, ensuring high rigidity of the driver body. It uses an ultra-thin, lightweight foil with a printed aluminum pattern, drastically reducing the weight of the diaphragm.
The magnetic circuit uses a powerful single magnet and a double annular yoke to achieve excellent magnetic flux control.
These elements enable Katabiki (片響) to deliver excellent responsiveness, exceptional resolution and natural resonance characteristics, faithfully reproducing even the finest details of the music.

Silver-coated OCC and copper OCC cable from Eletech Cables
To maximize driver performance, the silver-coated OCC and copper OCC cable was carefully engineered from a blend of high-purity silver and copper. This precise combination enables detailed and accurate sound reproduction. Each connector is finished with aluminum, adding a touch of refinement and premium quality to the overall design.
