AKAGANE LE2 IEM upgrade cable
A headphone replacement cable that sets a new standard for Brise Audio.
AKAGANE LE2 uses the new wire material AKAGANE-14. It is the most agile model of the AKAGANE series developed at the same time, and we aimed to achieve both user-friendliness and high sound quality.
The AKAGANE series uses the same insulating material as the SHIROGANE wire to sheath highly pure, high-performance copper wire, resulting in superior flexibility and high sound quality compared to conventional products.
The sound quality of the conventional LE model has been further improved to match the AKAGANE cable, and the high-quality sound processing has been brought to a new generation by using vibration-damping materials, new materials for absorbing electromagnetic waves, and new CNT materials (carbon nanotubes).
The LE2 model follows the know-how developed in the LE series and uses new high-quality parts, including a newly introduced metal cable slider.
Among Brise Audio products, the LE2 is one of the best for reproducing fine sounds. It vividly reproduces sound images with fine particles and projects them forward with a sense of power. It also features high resolution and is characterized by a balance between detailed reproduction and a sense of freshness.
To ensure optimal sound quality and user-friendliness in a variety of usage environments, six different types of connector terminals are available for the headphone side. For the input on the player side (amplifier), three types are available: 4.4 mm, 2.5 mm, and 3-pin 3.5 mm, with L-shaped and straight plugs.
Product Concept
This is a new generation of Brise Audio's original wire material, using the same soft and easy-to-process insulating material also used for SHIROGANE, which is also valued for its sound quality. The conductor consists of a high-performance copper material that considers not only purity but also other properties. The structure has been optimized through repeated research.
The AKAGANE wire material will be processed into a series and available in various designs and thicknesses.
As the first step, we launched the LE class.
In this class, the cable is the thinnest and easiest to handle among the AKAGANE wire materials.
Wire material (AKAGANE-14)
AKAGANE-14 is the thinnest wire in the AKAGANE series. It is soft and thin, making it extremely comfortable to wear, stress-free to use, and excellent for reproducing fine tones.
The cable slider used for the LE2 class is a newly developed special part made of brass and installed.
Various connectors have been used on the headphone side (MMCX, 2PIN, A2DC, PentaconnEar, IPX, MMCX for Sennheiser, connector for IER-Z1R, FitEar, etc.).
