Volür ushers in a new era of technological innovation. It is a 10-driver hybrid Universal In-Ear Monitor (UIEM) that builds on the legacy of our first high-driver count hybrid earphone, Nio (released in 2020). The winning formula of this hybrid platform has whetted our appetite for discovery, resulting in one of the most challenging and rewarding developments in our pioneering work in the high-end audio industry.
With the ranks of our other technological powerhouses, such as U18s and Fourté, this small package is filled with an almost unmanageable amount of proven and novel acoustic science.

The beating heart of Volür consists of two new 9mm dynamic drivers in a True Isobaric configuration that exhibits unparalleled sonic capabilities in the Low Frequency (LF) range.
While our direct-radiating tia™ tweeter remains the benchmark for high frequency (RF) performance, our new tia waveguide optimizes its efficiency
while providing better tuning control.
The six mid-bass drivers and a single high-mid driver with symmetrical anchors complete the volume. Their implementation has been completely redesigned to maximize internal space while incorporating 3D printed acoustic tuning features.
It is important to note that the outer casing remains the same in size, while all major structural changes take place inside. The front panel now features a slimmer bevel, which blends seamlessly into the matte black aluminum casing.
Casing & Design
The final cosmetic touch comes in the form of a homage to the original Nio: a gorgeous purple abalone chip made from responsibly harvested New Zealand paua shell.
A new benchmark
What will soon set a new benchmark in acoustics, Volür is able to deliver rich bass and also shine in the rest of the spectrum. The saturated mids
continue to evoke a similar analog warmth to Nio, while the highs catapult it into territory of some of the most resolving audio products in the world.
Sound
The goal with LF playback was to increase quality, not just quantity, and the two isobaric drivers deliver both beautifully. Due to its pronounced attenuation properties, you hear more of the music and less distortion, effectively lowering the noise floor to a darker background between notes/beats and allowing details to emerge.
The effect is more tangible, and the subtle sub-bass information reveals the artist's true intentions. This top-heavy bass allows you to experience full sound even at extremely low volumes, especially with an isolating module like m20.
Known for their rich character, the familiar Nio mids maintain that signature quality, delivering an almost tube-saturated presentation. Volür's unique frequency response curve enhances this experience with a holographic midrange imaging that really shines on vocals, making them feel like they're floating in your head.
The Tia waveguide has played the greatest role in improving RF reproduction since our invention of the direct radiating driver. Volür's clarity and incredibly wide soundstage puts it in the same sonic resolution category as our flagship Fourté.
This is a rare high-end audio product that bridges the gap between bass-loving and technically detail-oriented audiophiles.
Tia®
The direct-radiating tia tweeter features our new tia waveguide to increase the efficiency and overall amplitude of the HF band. To refine this RF, special diffusion windows were integrated into the front and side of the waveguide.
The tia waveguide also serves as a fastening mechanism that connects to the center driver housing, allowing for precise positioning of the driver during manufacturing.Tubeless In-Ear Audio is a patented IEM design method that aims to reduce unwanted unwanted resonance and distortion to achieve a transparent and lifelike sound signature.

LID®
Linear Impedance Design (LID) is a patented circuit that corrects the nonlinear
nonlinear electrical resistance of the various driver sets of this 10-driver IEM.
Fluctuating output impedances of source amplifiers in devices such as smartphones, bodypacks, DAC/amplifiers and DAPs typically result in a different frequency response, depending on the increase in resistance. Restoring proper interaction with the source and maintaining the desired sound signature allows for consistent and sound.
Apex®
Although it looks similar to many of our UIEMs, the internal design of the Apex
system has been redesigned to accommodate the LF hole in the center driver housing.
Air Pressure Exchange is a patented vent that releases air pressure in a sealed ear canal while maintaining standard IEM isolation levels, allowing musicians and music lovers longer, more comfortable listening.
This ventilation reduces listener fatigue and enables a much more realistic sound image. Apex is available in four module variants for Volür: mX, m12, m15 and m20.
True Isobaric™ configuration
Our isobaric driver configuration with cone and magnet consists of two drivers
which are connected by an acoustically inert coupling chamber. One membrane is completely sealed, while only the other membrane produces sound pressure.
This complex application results in better attenuation, lower distortion, double power handling (because there are two coils and two motor structures) and extended AF response.
As this iso group needed to be connected in series, we worked with our
suppliers to create a new 9mm dynamic driver with an improved n54 magnet and 25μm PU/115°C + 19μm Ti Cone to increase sensitivity.
To further shape the sound, we have developed a high-precision acoustic low-pass filter made of textile fabric
developed for Fourté Blanc).
