The Niimbus US 5 PRO is the improved successor to the famous Niimbus US 4 and US 4+ headphone amplifiers. The US 5 and US 5 PRO versions have the same brilliant technology, the US 5 PRO also offers finely graduated volume control in 256 precise steps.

The US 5 series has powerful, noise-free and perfect-sounding circuits to optimally drive any dynamic and magnetostatic headphones.

The headphone outputs and the rear line outputs can be deactivated/activated using a switch on the front.

Versatile remote control

For undisturbed listening pleasure, almost all functions can be controlled via the elegantly designed remote control milled from one piece.
You have access to the motorized volume control, mute, input selection, headphone and line-out control via infrared.
 

Overview

Due to its incomparable technology, the Niimbus US 5 PRO is one of the most powerful headphone amplifiers on the market. It is characterized by:

• Least noise - due to a very small internal gain. This means that the amplifier's own noise is inaudible.
  
• High output voltage - due to 50 volt internal operating voltage. Therefore ideal for high-impedance headphones.
  
• High output power - through powerful amplifiers that can deliver far more power than even the most demanding headphones can need. Therefore ideal for headphones with low impedances and also magnetostats.
  
• High damping factor - due to lowest output impedance. That's why they're ideal for controlling even the most difficult headphones without any interference, with a guarantee of an uncompromising frequency response.
