Violectric

Since 2009, Lake People has also been building specialized devices for the hi-fi sector under the name Violectric. This allows music lovers with high demands on sound and design to also enjoy Lake People's first-class circuitry.

Fried Reim, the brains behind both brands, believes it is important that all Violectric products always derive their raison d'être from actual electronic design and not from fanciful, esoteric claims: "We appeal to pragmatists." This approach is reflected in the design of Violectric devices, which appear simple yet sophisticated.

The company Lake People

“Tools – not toys” is the motto of the Konstanz-based company Lake People Electronic, a wholly owned subsidiary of cma audio GmbH. This guiding principle reflects the company's approach to developing serious, reference-level technology. In the professional sector, the company implements its claim under the name Lake People, and in the hi-fi sector with the brands Violectric and Niimbus.

The local connection to the Lake Constance region, already expressed in the choice of the company name "Lake People," is also reflected in the company's operational business: The entire development and production takes place in the Konstanz factory with the active involvement of founder and mastermind Fried Reim, and even suppliers are largely from Germany. This results in A/D and D/A converters, microphone, headphone, and phono amplifiers, as well as a wide variety of signal converters bearing the well-deserved "Made in Germany" seal of quality.
