Specially customized high-performance transformer
MAGNETAR engineers specifically selected a 60W high-power, low-noise transformer for the UDP800, equipped with a two-stage filter design and Japanese Rubycon electrolytic capacitors to meet the high transient response requirements of surround sound systems and high-resolution audio. A separate metal housing reduces noise levels, ensures stability and silence, and further improves audio and video quality.
High-quality digital-to-analog converter
For audio-only playback, the UDP800 uses a 4-layer PCB board, with each channel equipped with independent wiring. Two independent Burr-Brown PCM 1795 DAC processors are used for dual-channel D/A decoding, processing the left and right channels respectively.
And a high-quality MUSES8920 OP-AMP ensures audiophile sound quality. The UDP800 features balanced, gold-plated stereo XLR connectors and unbalanced, gold-plated stereo RCA outputs. The Pure Audio Mode feature is available to provide audio lovers with uncompromised sound quality.
Elegant and high-quality chassis construction
