The best image quality in the world
The newly developed 6-layer gold immersion motherboard uses a high-precision, ultra-low noise temperature-compensated 27MHz TCXO crystal oscillator, which doubles the UDP800's high-precision LDO power supply, ensuring the highest accuracy.
In addition, more digital signal processing and x10 LDO voltage stabilizers have been added compared to the UDP800. Murata multilayer ceramic capacitors, TDK magnetic components and 30 NCC electrolytic capacitors further improve audio and video quality.
The UDP900 can play DVD, Blu-ray and 4K UHD discs and even media files and supports both H265 and H264. The image quality is sharp and clear, with crisp details that are pleasing to the eyes.
HDR technology

4K UHD upscaling

Dual power design
A customized high-performance switching power supply with transient response provides power to the digital board. A 60W high-power, low-noise transformer with a two-stage filter design and a variety of Japanese Rubycon electronic capacitors are used to meet the transient response required by surround sound systems and high-resolution audio.
A separate metal housing dampens noise and ensures stability and quietness, further improving audio and video quality.
A 60W toroidal transformer provides power for analog audio signals. Using an imported magnetic core, high quality oxygen-free copper wires, metal shields and full epoxy resin filling, vibration noise and heat generation are reduced, improving performance and audio quality.
High-quality digital-to-analog converters
For audio-only playback, the UDP900 uses two temperature-compensated, ultra-low noise 100 MHz TCXO crystal oscillators for more accurate system clocking. Two independent DAC processors are used for dual and multi-channel D/A decoding, ensuring audiophile sound quality.
ESS9038PRO D/A decoding for balanced 2-channel XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs, ESS9028PRO D/A decoding for 7.1 RCA output. The UDP900 features gold-plated balanced stereo XLR connectors and gold-plated unbalanced stereo RCA outputs. The Pure Audio Mode feature is available to provide audio lovers with uncompromised sound quality.
