The blue and green colors represent hope for the future. We designed Skuld, our talented designers chose shades of blue and green as the main color of the elements, supported by shiny gold foil and sparkling silver elements to create a catchy and shiny design to the black main base of the cavity.
Future must be bright, it should be fascinating to contemplate. We all love to think about amazing, big futures that lie ahead. This is what Kinera Skuld's design represents. The mysterious, the shiny, the magnificent shiny surface of the Skuld represents this fascination we have for our future. This is what we think fully lives up to the name of the Goddess Skuld.
Attunement of the Kinera Skuld
The future is a mystery, her is a surprise, but there is a certainty that it will always come. Under this mystery we all know that there is balance in the world. This message of balance, this uncertainty, our experienced engineers want to convey with the Kinera Skuld.
Skuld uses a full BA configuration that houses two of our in-house bespoke BA units and three of Knowles' acclaimed BA drivers, tuned by our professional engineers to deliver an experience that you maybe never experienced.
After machine tuning and testing, we are surprised to see that our beloved Skuld has a smooth, flat frequency response with no more than 4dB difference in the 0-8kHz frequency range. This is our flattest Kinera Odin frequency response curve.
A flat frequency response doesn't mean it's dull or less engaging in any way. To ensure a comfortable and snug fit that allows you to indulge in countless hours of listening to your music, we've given Skuld's ear cups a lightweight, ergonomic design. Don't worry about them falling out of your ears, just enjoy your favorite music any time of the day!
High quality silver-plated copper cable with 4.4mm balanced connector
For the Kinera Skuld, we have developed an all new 8-wire, 192-wire silver-plated copper cable with a 4.4mm balanced connector plug. 4.4mm is a common type of balanced connector used in most current devices. The cable is jacketed with PVC insulation to reduce any microphonic problems. High quality silver plated copper material enables smooth signal transmission with low internal resistance for the signal. This greatly improves sound reproduction with the Skuld, providing the user with powerful sound reproduction complemented by a wide and open stage presentation.
