6-WAY CROSSOVER
ÉTOILE's crossover is implemented on a specially developed circuit board and uses resistor-capacitor networks to achieve precise six-way frequency division and seamless driver integration.
Signals are routed directly into five special sound channels, with specific frequency bands further refined by acoustic filters. This topology ensures exact electrical and acoustic tuning and faithfully reproduces the sound character intended by ÉTOILE.
ENGINEERED ART
Structural integrity meets acoustic precision.
It starts with a precision-crafted acoustic plate. It is more than just a structural element; it defines the inner chamber and seals a controlled space where geometry, pressure, and timing are aligned.
Above it lies full-grain Italian Saffiano leather. It naturally dampens, suppresses micro-resonances, and refines low-frequency behavior. Bass definition becomes sharper. The background darkens. The texture emerges.
The crowning achievement of the construction is a CNC-machined, 24-karat gold-plated frame made from 6061-T6 aluminum. It is mounted at three offset suspension points, distributes resonance, secures every layer, and anchors the construction into a rigid structure.
With VOLK, the structure is solid.
Airflow
ÉTOILE unites all drivers in a common acoustic volume and uses a dual tri-port venting system to regulate airflow and balance internal pressure across the entire driver array.
This stabilizes diaphragm movement, eliminates unwanted resonances, and preserves clarity and tonal balance. Even a shift of the vent opening by only 0.1 mm noticeably changes bass reproduction and overall coherence, highlighting the meticulous precision behind the design.
ARC
We did not develop a cable. We engineered a signal path.
ARC is made from a carefully selected matrix of ultra-pure conductors: solid 5N OCC silver, 4N silver, silver-plated copper, gold-plated silver, and palladium-coated silver. Each of these conductors was specifically chosen for its properties regarding current conduction, impedance control, and absolute signal integrity.
The internal geometry is carefully matched. Every strand, every cut, every length is aligned for symmetry, phase coherence, and electrical consistency.
The hardware is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, precision brushed and black anodized, with the Y-splitter and 4.4mm AEC connector accented by engraved 24-karat gold rings.
Coated with medical PVC. Supple in the hand. Silent in movement. No microphonics. No discoloration. No interference.
ARC is the final link in the signal chain of ÉTOILE.
