Since its introduction, the Fourté flagship has proudly stood at the top of the product range and shaped nearly every aspect of the custom and universal products for ten years. 64 Audio now introduces its new benchmark in portable high-end audio: Ocean.

At its core, Ocean is a 6-driver, 4-way system distinguished by a neutral sound signature and impressive realism in the midrange. Featuring 64 Audio's renowned technical performance, Ocean offers a wide soundstage, excellent instrument separation, and clarity across the entire frequency spectrum.

• Low-Frequency Range: Two specially designed dynamic drivers in a true isobaric arrangement deliver powerful and exceptionally clean low-end.

• Midrange: Rich and present, leaving nothing to be desired.

• Upper Midrange: Crucial for realism—neither too restrained (distant) nor too dominant (harsh/screeching).

• High-Frequency Range: Equipped with the tia Waveguide (refined through the newly patented metamaterial) combined with the tia tweeter for lifelike, natural, and enjoyable highs.

The housing is made of champagne-copper-colored aluminum with a machined faceplate. The design is inspired by aeolian ripples (geological sediment patterns shaped by wind movement)—a minimalist counterpoint to current design trends.

Passive Acoustic Control (Passive acoustic tuning)

• Low-Frequency Filters (Back-Vent): Four interchangeable filters allow bass sensitivity to be adjusted by approximately 8 dB without affecting isolation (-6 dB, -2 dB, REF, +2 dB).

• High-Frequency Screens (tia Screens): The sound opening has been adapted for interchangeable stainless-steel screens to accommodate individual HRTF differences or different source material (options: REF, -2 dB).

Sound

As the culmination of everything we have learned since our founding in 2010, Ocean offers a wide soundstage, excellent separation, and clarity across the entire frequency spectrum. The Iso group delivers powerful and exceptionally clean low-end. The mids are rich and present, leaving nothing to be desired. The upper midrange, crucial to our perception of realism, continues our tradition of achieving the perfect balance between presence and refinement.

Ocean features one of the very few additive tuning mechanisms in UIEM design: our remarkably effective tia waveguide. Further refined through our recently patented metamaterial and combined with the tia™ tweeter, Ocean reproduces high frequencies with a lifelike, natural, and effortless character.

With its champagne-copper-colored aluminum housing and milled faceplate, Ocean's design is inspired by aeolian ripples—geological sediment patterns shaped by wind movement. Our preference for minimalist design reflects both our brand identity and a deliberate counterpoint to current market trends, particularly in the flagship segment.

Shielded Ocean cable

Ocean comes standard with two shielded cables—one with a 3.5 mm plug and the other with a balanced 4.4 mm Pentaconn plug. The four-core cross-braided conductors are made of silver-plated, single-crystal copper (UP-OCC); they provide excellent noise shielding and transparent signal transmission with an exceptionally low impedance of just 0.29 Ω.

Acoustic tuning

Customize Ocean's response with two tia™ stainless-steel screens for attenuating high frequencies and four back-vent filters for controlling the pneumatic load of the isobaric dynamic drivers. Together with the four apex™ modules, these provide 32 different combinations for a truly customized sound signature.
