SILENOS

The FangSound Silenos combines a discrete, complementary R2R resistor network (up to 32 bit / 768 kHz) with an outstanding continuous output power of 14 W into 32 Ω, allowing it to drive even the most demanding headphones effortlessly and musically.

The device is rounded out by a CNC-machined full-aluminum housing, a clean 100 W dual-GaN power supply, and comprehensive connectivity for flexible use as a headphone amplifier and dedicated preamplifier.

1. True balanced high-power output: 14 W @ 32 Ω continuous-load drive power

   The Silenos delivers up to 14 W of continuous, fully balanced output power into a 32 Ω load. Unlike conventional products that only specify peak values (“Peak”), the Silenos offers genuine, continuously available high performance. It can drive high-impedance and low-sensitivity headphones stably—including large planar magnetic headphones and flagship dynamic models. Thanks to outstanding dynamic-range control, it reproduces the finest details and the full energy of the original recording without alteration.

2. Complementary R2R DAC architecture (supports up to 32 bit / 768 kHz)

   The Silenos uses a discrete, complementary R2R resistor network for highly precise digital-to-analog conversion. The circuit was optimized for excellent symmetry and error suppression, delivering a natural, analog-like listening experience. PCM formats up to 32 bit / 768 kHz are supported; internal oversampling is also integrated for enhanced signal fidelity and resolution.

3. CNC-precision-machined full-aluminum housing with shielding and thermal stability

   The housing is CNC-machined from a solid block of aluminum and anodized/sandblasted, ensuring high structural stability and electromagnetic shielding. This effectively suppresses digital noise and mechanical resonances while providing excellent heat dissipation for stable continuous operation.

4. Comprehensive connectivity for a wide range of system requirements

   The Silenos offers a wide range of inputs and outputs for flexible integration into various headphone and Hi-Fi systems:

   • Headphone outputs: 4-pin XLR balanced, 4.4 mm balanced, 6.35 mm jack (unbalanced), 3.5 mm jack (unbalanced)

   • Analog input: XLR (Note: When using this input, please disconnect the Type-C plug on the rear panel)

   • Preamp output: 4.4 mm balanced (connectable via adapter cable to active XLR or RCA speakers or power amplifiers)
