Aurum means gold. There couldn't be a better name for our new flagship. The natural luster and desire of gold was our inspiration for the design and sonic signature of Craft Ears Aurum.
Craft Ears has always strived to push the boundaries further to achieve the best possible sound. We wanted to create something new and fresh. Craft Ears Aurum is our first tribride IEM. We believe that three types of drivers are all we need to create perfectly shaped sound with exceptional timbre. Craft Ears Aurum features a PEN Dynamic Driver, four Balanced Armatures and two electrostatic drivers with specially tuned SES™ 2.0 (Space Expanse System) and True Load™ technology.
We chose a 10mm PEN Dynamic Driver decided that works as a real subwoofer. It delivers a clear, fast and full but not overwhelming sub-bass. The lightweight yet rigid PEN diaphragm with the N35 magnet gives the low frequencies a richness previously unmatched in the world of in-ear monitors. It offers you precise dynamics and exquisite sound quality at the same time.
Four symmetrical drivers with carefully selected electric five-way crossover are responsible for the mids and highs and ensure a defined, remarkably natural vocalization and timbre with minimal sharpness. The dual electrostatic driver is the icing on the cake. We've improved the Craft Six SES™ (Space Expanse System) you love. We tuned it specifically for electrostatic drivers and developed the patent-pending SES™ 2.0. We've achieved the volume and extension of the EST driver like we've never seen before, while maintaining its speed and smoothness. Now the last octave is exceptionally clean and refined like never before.
