Our new pure copper conductor in a generous 18-AWG format, specially developed for in-ear monitors (IEMs).

Driven by the pursuit of maximum performance and intensive testing, we created our most substantial conductor to date. To achieve the desired ergonomics and sound quality, it was crucial to transfer the proven key elements of our designs to this format.

Based on our characteristic Type-6 design, the enlarged cross-section enables a significant increase to 36 strand bundles (compared with only 6 bundles in conventional 26-AWG cables). This reduces electrical resistance to an absolute minimum and increases output power - allowing all IEMs and headphones to be driven noticeably more efficiently and effortlessly from any source. For the first time, we are also using graded damping cores, which offer several advantages: They keep the conductor consistently round for constant conductivity, suppress sound-degrading mechanical micro-vibrations, and make the XL cable remarkably soft and flexible for mobile use.

Each individual strand is sealed with a fine enamel coating over a layer of silver. This minimizes high-frequency effects such as skin and proximity effects and permanently prevents any oxidation ("verdigris"), ensuring that the premium appearance remains flawless for years. Our proprietary outer insulation is among the most flexible and durable on the market. After production, the conductors undergo an intensive deep-freezing treatment (Deep Cryo Treatment): This aligns the crystal structures even more densely, increasing signal speed, minimizing distortion and resistance, reducing background noise, and preserving the excellent sound quality over time.
