The Burson Audio Conductor Voyager Deluxe embodies cutting-edge audio technology in a highly integrated system that combines digital-to-analog converters, Class-A headphone amplifiers, and preamplifiers into a single, uncompromising unit. At its heart is the ESS9039PRO DAC, ESS Technology's most powerful model to date, boasting remarkable resolution, dynamic expressiveness, and minimal distortion. To exploit the full potential of this chip, Burson utilizes fully discrete I/V and LP stages in a dual-mono architecture, as well as its proprietary V7 Vivid opamps, enabling impressively spatial, natural, and musical reproduction.
With an output power of up to 10 watts per channel, the Conductor Voyager Deluxe is capable of driving even the most demanding headphones, including magnetostatic models, with ease. Four high-current gain transistors per channel ensure control, dynamics, and tremendous expressiveness. The power supply is based on Burson's Max Current Power Supply with seven ultra-low-noise Silent Power Modules, ensuring a noise-free background.
The device offers maximum connectivity flexibility: USB-C with XMOS technology supports native DSD512 and 32-bit/786 kHz PCM, while Bluetooth 5.0 with LDAC, AAC, and aptX HD enables wireless high-resolution playback up to 24-bit/96 kHz. As a Roon Tested component, the Voyager integrates seamlessly into modern streaming setups. A special feature is the Head+Sub mode, which combines open-back headphones with a subwoofer, creating an immersive, physically tangible sound experience.
