MIKUMARI Ref.2 is the latest version of BriseAudio's current flagship headphone cable, MIKUMARI, brought to the ultimate in sound quality by applying the company's current know-how.
The MIKUMARI Ref.2 is the result of the original cable development by BriseAudio.
The MIKUMARI Ref.2 is a uniquely designed BriseAudio cable that aims to achieve both the transparency of the mid-high range and the thickness and band extension of the low-range, which are the characteristics of BriseAudio cables.
It adopts an 8-core structure, which is more resistant to noise, and our original high sound quality technology is re-optimized and applied. We have strived for a balance of sound quality and ease of use.
MIKUMARI uses BriseAudio's original shielding (7-layer structure) and anti-vibration, as well as CNT (Carbon Nanotubes) to significantly reduce the noise floor and provide a higher quality listening experience to offer.
Sound quality exclusive to MIKUMARI Ref.2
For the MIKUMARI Ref.2, we introduced a special multi-layer non-magnetic material to absorb electromagnetic waves (7-layer structure), and not only the shielding but also the anti-vibration and other improvements based on the know-how based on the development of YATONO.
Tonal tendency of MIKUMARI Ref.2
The MIKUMARI Ref.2 adopts the same trend of high-frequency monitoring as the MIKUMARI, with a faithful and straight sound as a base, and further improves the detailed description and the scope of the information. Dynamic range is expanded with a simple increase in vertical range, and the full range has good visibility due to noise floor reduction, as well as a dramatic improvement in spatial description that comes from the stillness of empty space.
The resulting three-dimensionality of the sound image and the spaciousness are essential features of the Ref. We are particularly proud of the fact that the improvement in the direction of the fundamental tone, especially in the medium and low frequency range, is an essential feature of our cables.

The cable slider used for MIKUMARI Ref.2 is milled from extremely high quality and rare solid rosewood and is made entirely in Japan. It also serves as a vibration stabilizer.
