2 x 8mm Al-Mg Woofer Drivers - Sub-Low & Low

The 8mm Isobaric dynamic drivers offer strong power and precise sound. Two 8mm dynamic drivers are responsible for the low and middle frequency range and thanks to their exquisite design, they offer a tight, precise and better tuned bass.

Eight Drivers: Two sets of four balanced armature drivers - low-mid, mid-high, mid-high

It is equipped with four specially selected balanced armature (BA) drivers for the low-mid range and four BA drivers for the mid-range and treble with two pairs of dual BA drivers that together cover the mid-range and treble . The eight carefully selected BA drivers work together to create a precise mid-range sound, producing warm and emotional male and female voices.

Balanced armature (BA) drivers designed with to maximize a sense of space and openness are utilized to create soft, delicate, yet expanded ultra-high-frequency sound that resonates richly in your ears.

Ultra Precision Technology

5-way crossover

The technical configuration of the AURA is equipped with a high-quality crossover, which is manufactured in Germany with the greatest care. All components are selected to have the tightest possible tolerances on the market. AURA uses a 5-way crossover with a special circuit solution that avoids excessive loading of the tweeter towards the source (amplifier), reducing distortion and extending high-frequency reproduction. The internal wiring is made of high-quality silver-plated copper wires for the highest performance.

Isobar configuration with two dynamic drivers

Two 8mm dynamic drivers face each other in an isobaric configuration. Because two drivers face each other and sound is emitted right between them, compositional interference is maximized, effectively doubling the output volume. This, in turn, eliminates any phasing problems that can arise from the difference in length between the sound tubes and reduces harmonic distortion.

This design makes the low-frequency sound produced by the dynamic drivers more precise, solid and lively.

The "special chamber" has a precise internal volume calculated to obtain the best compromise between the speed of the drivers and the musicality. The two DD drivers are tightly matched to reduce potential phase collisions that could result in inaccurate transient reproduction.

AURA's open design features a vacuum metal mesh that shimmers elegantly on the top. This special aluminum acoustic fabric circulates the air from the dynamic driver to control the strong resonance force and protect the internal components from external influences.

Material innovation and craftsmanship

AURA's front panel and body are made of Swiss 6061-T6 aluminum.

6061 aluminum is an alloy that is lightweight, strong and highly corrosion resistant. In addition, we applied a T6 heat treatment to increase the strength of the aluminum, making it not only feather light and strong, but also giving it a beautiful finish.

All parts are manufactured in a high-quality CNC milling process, one part at a time.

The Micro Groove Design faceplate

The micro groove design is applied to the surface treatment for the milling process. The grooves are dug along the grain of the raw material to create a unique design before the product is placed in a precision machined template for laser engraving.

This process is not a standard laser process, but a special laser process that removes parts of the raw material to engrave letters with a depth of 0.5 mm and to give the engravings more depth. The component is then treated with oil to protect against oxidation, packaged, anodised and given a custom dark bronze colour.

Precision-machined aluminum body

Unlike the front panel, the shell is sealed with oil and then given to the polishing master. The front panel is engraved with an aesthetic design element, and the surfaces of the shells are polished using a special sandblasting process. Since otherwise marks from the tools used would remain, each bowl is polished by hand to a high gloss. After sandblasting and anodizing, the shell is then ready to take on the warm gray color developed by Vision Ears.
The AURA case is the result of thousands of hours of labor using carefully selected materials, precision processes and specialized tools to carve diamonds from rough rock.
