The A&norma series was developed to enjoy the premium sound of Astell&Kern in a portable format with premium specifications.
SR25 MKII, the predecessor of the series, was loved by audio enthusiasts and those just beginning their personal audio journey thanks to its portable size and powerful Hi-Fi sound via a balanced 4.4mm Jack loved.
The A&norma SR35 takes these strengths and applies the amplifier and audio design used in Astell&Kern's premium products to deliver the authentic sound quality that Astell&Kern is so well known for. The ultra-compact SR35 offers 20 hours of continuous playback, supports a Quad DAC and two-stage gain control and is the first introduction of New Generation Amp technology in the A&norma line with Astell&Kern's long-standing know-how for an even finer and clearer hi- Fi sound at higher power.
We have also applied our new UI/UX to the SR35 with improved looks and usability for a more immersive music experience. In addition, the SR35 comes with Roon Ready and MQA decoder support to further enhance the performance of our A&norma line.

New features introduced to the A&norma line of players with the SR35 include:
Quad DAC with quad/dual switching mode
The SR35 is an upgrade of the popular SR25 MK II that was released in 2021. Like the SR25 MK II, the SR35 features Cirrus Logic's 43198 MasterClass DACs, but with four additional DACs. A dual/quad DAC switching mode allows users to customize and improve power management efficiency by switching between using two DACs or all four DACs during playback for longer continuous playback time on a single charge make possible. In dual DAC mode, the SR35 supports up to 20 hours of continuous playback on a single charge.
2-level boost mode
Two-stage amplification mode allows perfect adaptation to a wide range of headphones and IEMs and ensures optimal sound reproduction. The two-stage gain adjustment with "Normal Gain" and "High Gain" modes can produce high output current to achieve powerful sound and excellent driver control. With up to 6Vrms on the balanced connectors, driving high-impedance headphones has never been easier.

First introduced on the flagship A&ultima SP3000, the SR35 features Astell&Kern's newly developed fourth-generation UX/UI, which focuses on the process and experience of listening to music.
The new design focuses on rediscovering forgotten songs; with simple gestures you can quickly scroll through the music categories. A convenient search function has been added along with album covers, so you can enjoy a digital display of the CD covers of your music collection. It should not only give you pleasure in listening to music, but also make operating the device fun.
With the new Crimson Theme, one of the key features of the 4th Gen UI. Generation, the graphics are simple and unobtrusive, focusing on usability and intuitiveness. Three key concepts, Edge, Simple and Dark Mode have been used to improve user experience.
