The blue-green colors stand for hope, for the future. We designed Skuld, our talented designers chose blue and green tones as the main colors of the elements, supported by shiny gold foil and sparkling silver elements to create a catchy and shiny design on the black main base of the cavity.
The future must be bright, it should be fascinating to think about. We all love to think about impressive, great futures ahead of us. That is what the design of the Kinera Skuld represents. The mysterious, the shining, the great shiny surface of Skuld represents this fascination we have for our future. That is what, in our opinion, perfectly lives up to the name of the goddess Skuld.
Tuning of the Kinera Skuld
The future is a mystery, it is a surprise, but there is a certainty that it will always come. Under this mystery, we all know there is a balance in the world. Our experienced engineers want to convey this message of balance, this uncertainty, with the Kinera Skuld.
Skuld uses a full BA configuration, housing two of our in-house custom BA units and three of the renowned Knowles BA drivers, tuned by our professional engineers to deliver an experience you may have never had before.
After the mechanical tuning and testing, we are surprised to see that our beloved Skuld has a smooth, flat frequency response with a difference of no more than 4dB in the frequency range of 0-8kHz. This is our flattest frequency response curve after the Kinera Odin.
A flat frequency response does not mean it is dull or less engaging. We made sure that the Skuld conveys the emotions of your favorite music with great clarity, high resolution, and strong transient dynamics. We are quite sure you will love the dynamic and immersive sound that captivates you with all its clarity and detail.
Ergonomic cavity structure
Our Skuld is not just a work of art to look at; we are quite sure you will enjoy your favorite music on it. To ensure a comfortable and secure fit that allows you to indulge in your music for countless hours, we designed the Skuld's ear cavities with a lightweight, ergonomic design. Don't worry about them falling out of your ears; just enjoy your favorite music anytime!
High-quality silver-plated copper cable with symmetrical 4.4 mm connector
For the Kinera Skuld, we developed a completely new 8-core, 192-strand, silver-plated copper cable with a symmetrical 4.4mm connector. 4.4 mm is a widely used symmetrical connection type found in most current devices. The cable is wrapped with PVC insulation to reduce possible microphonics. High-quality silver-plated copper material enables smooth signal transmission with low internal resistance for the signal. This significantly improves sound reproduction with the Skuld and offers the user powerful sound playback, complemented by a wide and open stage presentation.
