Selected tube range

The CS-6PH features two Electro Harmonix 6922s for MC amplification, two JJ Electronics ECC83s for MM amplification with high-precision RIAA equalization, and two 12AT7s for the output stage. Two RCA 22DE4 tubes are used for voltage rectification and minimize the residual ripple.

Custom reinforcement:

A three-position LOW/MED/HIGH gain switch is located on the front of the Cayin CS-6PH, available in black or silver. Here, the gain can be adjusted from 40 dB to 57 dB. dB, 61 dB, or 65 dB. Typically, the 40 dB setting is intended for moving magnet cartridges, and the 57 dB, 61 dB, and 65 dB gain settings are intended for moving coil cartridges.

Adjustable input impedance and capacitance:

The CS-6PH is factory preset to 40 dB and 47 kOhm/47 pF for MM cartridges. The CAP switch on the front panel allows users to set the input capacitance for MM cartridges to 47 pF or 100 pF. The MC cartridge input impedance can be adjusted to suit the needs of any cartridge using the impedance selector switch: 47 ohms, 100 ohms, 200 ohms, 470 ohms, and 1000 ohms.A low-pass filter, which prevents high membrane excursions caused by low frequencies resulting from warped records, can be activated via the rumble switch.

Versatile outputs:

The Cayin CS-6PH offers both a balanced and an unbalanced analog output to which a variety of amplifiers can be connected.

With more than 25 years of experience in tube amplifier design, Cayin has always developed its own transformers. For the CS-6PH, the designers designed an EI power transformer for the power supply. Combined with a low-noise voltage regulator, the CS-6PH guarantees pure, low-noise, and stable amplification.

Each CS-6PH phono preamplifier is hand-assembled at Cayin by highly qualified technicians. A final multi-stage quality and listening test not only checks every function but also ensures that the sound meets the reference standard.

High-quality components:

The Cayin CS-6PH uses audio-quality capacitors and carbon film resistors, a large-sized EI transformer for the power supply, ceramic tube sockets, and high-end relays.

Easy to use:

All settings on the CS-6PH can be adjusted using switches on the front panel, allowing for easy operation and selection. The Cayin CS-6PH remembers the last settings after powering off. These settings are automatically applied when the device is powered on.

To ensure safe operation, Cayin implemented a soft-start circuit. After a 60-second warm-up period, the CS-6PH operates in a stable and optimal state. A visually attractive, easy-to-install tube cover is included.
