UM introduces the Maven II-Crescent, the culmination of six years of refinement and innovation, following the successful launch of the Maven in 2018.
With a modern industrial aesthetic while retaining the rugged beauty of the Titans, the Maven II represents a seamless blend of tradition and advancement within UM's Titan series.
Great sound, incomparable performance
With the configuration of 2DD Low Frequency + 2BA Mid-High Frequency + 2BA High Frequency + 4 electrostatic ultra-high frequency drivers, the Maven II represents a comprehensive refinement and breakthrough in tuning and processing compared to its predecessor, the Maven.
Since UM's first development of the MARTIAN and Japan-exclusive MAVIS in 2014, which features two 6.8mm dynamic drivers for low frequencies, the unique structure of dynamic bass has been in high demand.
The Maven II continues and improves on this technology by incorporating a proprietary 9.8mm + 6.9mm low frequency dynamic driver that delivers the inherent advantage of dynamic bass over balanced -Armature drivers in terms of naturalness. This unique dynamic driver delivers exceptional bass performance with distinctive character.
The Maven II offers exceptional sound quality through a careful combination of 2 balanced armature drivers for mid and high frequencies, 2 for high frequencies and 4 electrostatic drivers for extended high frequencies. UM's expertise is evident in the unique parallel, vertical, dual dynamic drivers that deliver powerful, detailed bass without sacrificing clarity.
This innovative combination, along with the titanium housing, creates a rich and immersive sound experience, with each driver type contributing to the overall sonic brilliance.
Craftsmanship and artistic skills
UM's factory has dedicated production lines for the design, manufacturing, prototyping and final assembly of titanium headphones. Equipped with comprehensive production facilities and systems for titanium earphones and systems, UM is one of the most accomplished and successful manufacturers of titanium IEMs.
Its exceptional strength, low density and other beneficial properties have made titanium the material of choice for aerospace and medical applications.
The Maven II case and front panel are made of corrosion-resistant and lightweight titanium, with a case thickness of just 0.4mm, achieving a remarkable balance of thinness, strength and durability.
Using 3D printing technology with real titanium powder imported directly from Germany, the Maven II's super titanium construction offers five times the strength of stainless steel at half the weight.
Titanium's inherent resistance to scratches and corrosion ensures long-lasting aesthetics. The lightweight design fits seamlessly around the ears, minimizing discomfort during extended listening sessions.
In addition to its robust construction, the Maven II is also an example of UM's mastery of advanced titanium printing technology, seamlessly combined with the expertise of UM artisans.
