Today I'm presenting a rather unusual product that is nevertheless extremely practical: the dust plugs from Cayin.
Dust plugs close unused 3.5mm and 4.4mm sockets on DAPs, amplifiers etc. and - as the name suggests - prevent dust from getting in.
That sounds profane at first, but apparently it was such a strong customer need that Cayin decided to build such a product for their customers.
To me, this is an example of excellent customer service, because while Cayin is unlikely to make much money from these things, they do it for their customers.
"We are doing this as a service to our users. The engraved pattern is borrowed from the volume control knob on N8ii and N7."
I don't know about you, but such dedication to your customers is rare these days and I'm so excited about these small, useful, cheap things that I'm writing this blog!
By the way, I didn't choose the headline by accident, because Cayin gave the dust plugs a packaging that is actually based on that of cufflinks - a nice little token of love to their customers.
